Giving back:

 The Marine Corps League is a Non-Profit Veterans Chartitable Organization  that participates in and promotes  community involvement. These efforts include but are not limited to programs such as Boy Scouts, Toys for Tots, Haley House, Scholarships and performing memorials for fallen veterans.

Annual Poker Run:  (updated)
The 2011  poker run was a team effort between the Marine Corps League Riverview Detachment #1226 and the American Legion Riders Post #148 .  Thanks to all of our Sponsors, Participants and Volunteers we were able to donate $3,500.00 to the Haley House.

Rose Fund:  In 1773 during the War of Independence the Marine Corps Rose was dedicated to those Marines who made the Ultimate Sacrifice for their country. This tradition was continued by the French during World War One when the Marines attacked the Germans in the trenches at Belleau Wood. Roses were planted by the grateful French people at the graves of the Fallen Marines. Whenever you see Leaguers or Young Marines distributing these remembrances, take one and wear it proudly.  All donations are appreciated.
